President; CEO

As President and CEO of Riverdale Electrical Services, Brian is one of New York's electrical industry leaders with over thirty years of experience.

Alongside Joseph O'Brien, Brian started Riverdale Electrical Services as one of two employees and expanded it to a team of 10 professionals with a supporting field team of 75, to offer a comprehensive selection of electrical services.

Since 1995, Brian has led the growth of Riverdale Electrical Services into a premier electrical contracting business that specializes in complex electrical projects for municipal, commercial, industrial, and residential clients. Brian's strategic management and development has enabled Riverdale Electrical Services to remain at the forefront of the industry’s advancements including energy efficiency, energy management and most importantly, renewable energy. This enthusiasm has directly resulted in Riverdale Electrical Service’s involvement amongst a variety of successful projects - in both the public and private sectors - with a client list that features some of the most recognized names in New York City.

Brian holds a Master Electrician's License in New York City and Westchester County.

JOSEPH O'BRIEN

Chief Engineer

As Chief Engineer at Riverdale Electrical Services, Joseph O'Brien is responsible for overseeing the strategic research, design and install of Riverdale Electrical Service’s contracting and engineering team.

Alongside Brian Tivnan, Joseph started Riverdale Electrical Services as one of two employees and expanded it to a team of 10 professionals with a supporting field team of 75, to offer a comprehensive selection of electrical services.

A seasoned professional, Joseph's keen insight and invaluable partnerships have enabled Riverdale Electrical Services to drive innovation and solve complex energy problems to date. Joseph and his team have set continuous records for award winning projects within the industry throughout New York City and Westchester County for the past twenty three years, and continue to do so.

Joseph is a graduate of the Dublin Institute of Technology.
